13. Augmented/Virtual Reality
Course Description
Augmented reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are complementary technologies, using which you can build solutions that bridge the digital and physical worlds. With AR, using specialized devices you can combine digital elements with real-world elements around you. This solution has many applications that can connect the vast amounts of data and information in the digital world, to augment the information that you see in just the physical world. With VR, you can create a whole digital world that simulates the real world, allowing you to experience real-world elements without actually having to be physical in that space. AR/VR solutions require a combination of design skills and tools along with specialized technology. In this course, you will learn the concepts of AR/VR and some of its applications.
